The effects of the cyclone could lead to hazardous conditions such as flooding, rockfalls, and mudflows, all of which pose considerable risks to individuals and infrastructure. In light of this, both the MSD and the Department of Civil Protection are actively monitoring the situation and will provide regular updates to keep the public informed.
To ensure safety, residents are advised to avoid open areas during the storm and to secure roofs and other structures. Additionally, those living in low-lying regions should prepare for possible evacuations if necessary.
Emphasizing the need for vigilance and collaboration, both departments urge the community to remain alert and follow official guidance to minimize potential damage and safeguard lives. Further advisories will be issued as the cyclone approaches.
