2025 New Year’s Eve turned de@dly following a head on collision of a Toyota Runx vehicle with two passengers on board with a Honda Fit vehicle with five passengers on board which claim two lives and left five inj-red.
The grim event unfolded at the 86-kilometer peg along Harare-Nyamapanda Road on 01/01/25 at around 0430 hours. The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the accident.
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred at the 86 kilometre peg along Harare –Nyamapanda Road on 01/01/25 at around 0430 hours.
Two people were k!lled while five others were inj-red when a Toyota Runx vehicle with two passengers on board was involved in a head on collision with a Honda Fit vehicle with five passengers on board,” the confirmation reads.
Meanwhile, Police in Gwanda are investigating a case of m-rder which occurred on 01/01/25 near Njanji Business Centre, Spitzkop North. An unknown suspect st@bbed the victim on the thigh with unknown sharp object for unknown reasons.
The victim was found in a pool of bl00d and was taken to a hospital in Gwanda where he d!ed upon admission.
