Mrs Elizabeth Matenga founder of Friends Without Boundaries organization as well as a Trustee member for John Bradburne Memorial Society UK continues to support Mutemwa Leprosy Catholic Care Centre. Her organization gives relief to orphanages, helps in construction of churches and Catholic convents and more. The Organisation has more than 20 years offering assistance to vulnerable people.
Her organization has sourced funds to buy prosthetic legs for two residents Maria and Rhodina. Last month the organization visited Rhodina and Maria at Mutemwa Leprosy Catholic Care Centre and they shared their sad stories of losing their legs. Hope of mobility and independence is on the way funds are now available.
Rhodina and Maria have been measured for their prosthetic legs by Jairos Jiri. The two ladies are excited to get back their mobility and independence.
Mrs Matenga is a volunteer for Mutemwa Leprosy Catholic Care Centre. She got the love of helping the poor from her biological mother who was Catholic and devoted to help the poor.
