Duo Premier League footballers have been arrested after a r@pe was reported to police. The two unnamed footballers are from the same club, same age 19 years were arrested over the weekend.
One of the suspects was reportedly spoken to by police on suspicion of ass@ult and aiding and abetting a r@pe at the club stadium before the formally arrested after leaving the grounds.
He was detained over night and was later questioned by police under caution. The other player was arrested the day after and was later quizzed by police on r@pe allegations.
The alleged victim contacted police and filed a formal complaint report late hours of Friday night.
A police spokesperson confirmed the arrest of two men following r@pe report.
“A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of ass@ult and aiding and abetting a r@pe . A second 19-year-old man was arrested on the same suspicion”
“Both men have been released on Police bail”
It is not the first time the Premier League has been at the centre of a Police Investigation over r@pe allegations.
