Acting on this tip-off, they launched an operation to apprehend the individual.
Their search led them to Kudakwashe Shoriwa, a 45-year-old man, who was found in possession of a significant amount of d@gga (mariju@na).
The exact weight of the dr_g was 1.1 kilograms, a substantial quantity that suggested Shoriwa was involved in a larger dr_g trafficking operation.
Meanwhile , on June 29 2024, detectives from the same unit received another tip-off about a person who was selling illegal dr_gs at Zengeza 3 Bus Terminus in Chitungwiza.
They rushed to the scene and arrested Austin Munoti, a 42-year-old man, who was found with three boxes containing 50 bottles each of Broncleer Cough Syrup.
The cough syrup is a medication that typically contains codeine, a controlled substance that can be abus3d and lead to addiction.
The detectives are investigatigating further to determine the extent of these operations and identify any other individuals involved.
