Leon Hunda, 32, and Joe Kunaka, 27, were brought before Harare Senior Magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa, facing two counts of robbery.
The duo allegedly targeted passengers using illegal taxis in Harare, stealing their valuables.
They were remanded in custody until August 28 and ordered to apply for bail at the High Court.
According to the State, on June 22, 2024, the complainant boarded the pair’s white Toyota Probox in Greystone Park, heading to town.

Once inside, he was sandwiched between the two accused, who produced a pistol and knife, demanding his belongings.
They st0le his phone and $926 in cash, pushing him out of the car on Harare Drive.
The total value of st0len goods is $1,126, with nothing recovered.
