Tyla Seethal has finally addressed the speculation surrounding her relationship status.
The talented singer behind the hit song ‘Water’, is basking in the glory of her recent Grammy win for Best African Music Performance. The amapiano track has taken the world by storm, smashing records and gaining massive popularity.
Competing against other notable artists like ASAKE & Olamide, Burna Boy, and Davido featuring Musa Keys, as well as Ayra Starr, Tyla emerged victorious in the newly introduced category at the 2024 Grammys. The Best African Music Performance award joins the ranks of two other fresh categories: Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording.
In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, Tyla Seethal opened up about her thrilling win and took the opportunity to address the ongoing speculation about her dating life. Speaking to CEO Jason Lee, she made it abundantly clear that she is currently not in a relationship and set the record straight on some swirling dating rumours.
When questioned about why the internet always tries to pair her with someone, Tyla playfully responded,
“Very single. Yoh guys! Guys, anyone I’m seen with I am dating that person,” before adding, “I don’t know why but I’m very single.”
Contrary to Tyla’s statement, podcast host MacG previously claimed that she was dating Sho Majozi’s ex-boyfriend, who happens to be a videographer. Last October, MacG even suggested that the millions of streams garnered by Tyla’s song were not authentic but instead artificially generated.
