Tyla’s album sales surpass Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’

Tyla, the critically acclaimed songstress, has made history with her debut album, “TYLA,” surpassing sales of Beyoncé’s latest project, “Cowboy Carter.”

Since its December 2023 release, “TYLA” has experienced phenomenal success, securing the seventh spot among the best-selling female albums of 2024.

According to ThePopStuff, Tyla’s debut album has amassed an impressive 2.34 million sales, narrowly edging out Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” with 2.32 million sales.

This achievement follows the official gold certification of “TYLA” deluxe. An overwhelmed Tyla expressed gratitude to her devoted fan base, saying, “My first album has exceeded my wildest expectations.

I’m forever thankful to my fans for their unwavering support.” Tyla’s genre-bending style, blending Amapiano, R&B, Afrobeats, and pop, has captivated audiences worldwide.

Fans are ecstatic about her remarkable accomplishment, praising her talent and dedication.

Netizens cheered and celebrated Tyla’s success, while others mocked Beyoncè:

nizamandela was proud:

“That’s that RSA DNA. Tyla is representing South Africa amongst the world’s most elite.”

Liberiangirlore showed love to Tyla:

“Congratulations to the South African goddess, Tyla is a wonderful album. Let me go give it another listen.”

BLksupermanG was impressed:

“Outselling the ‘Queen of music’ with your debut album is legendary!”

Desola091 wrote:

“Guys, I don’t want to hear anything; this is to be celebrated. Young people are breaking records, whether African or Asian, I don’t care!”

a_c_330 recalled:

“The beyhive was attacking Tyla earlier this year and said that she wouldn’t go nowhere because she didn’t name Beyoncè as an inspiration, by the way.”
