Tyrese, the 17-year-old brother of South African singing sensation Tyla, is making the most of his sister’s meteoric rise to fame.
Since Tyla’s Grammy win, Tyrese has become a mini-celebrity in his own right at school, and he’s capitalizing on it by charging $500 for a picture.
The enterprising teenager recently organized a meet-and-greet event, where fans could snap a photo with him and his sister’s coveted Grammy award trophy.
Many were happy to pay for the opportunity to meet Tyrese and get a glimpse of the prestigious award.
Tyla, whose real name is Tyla Laura Seethal, has had a whirlwind few months, performing on acclaimed shows in the USA and gracing major international stages.
