A Zimbabwean national, Lovemore Musoyi, remains at large despite a major manhunt.
Musoyi, believed to be around 35 years old, is sought in connection with over ten serious criminal cases, including murd3r, attempted murd3r, armed and house robberies, business burglaries, kidnapping, assaults, stock theft, and the possession of an unlicensed f!rearm and ammunition.
These crimes span various locations in the Sekhukhune District, including Elandskraal, Motetema, Dennilton, and Rakgoadi.
Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, has directed detectives in Sekhukhune to deploy all available resources to capture Musoyi.
They have are also offering a R20,000 reward for any information that leads to the arr3st and successful conviction of a notorious suspect.
One notable incident involved Musoyi and his accomplices robbing a tuck shop in Mafisheng village on June 20, 2024. During this robbery, Musoyi att@cked a male victim with an axe, accusing him of betrayal, before stealing money and soft drinks from the shop.
Musoyi also made headlines on January 1, 2023, when he escaped from a police vehicle at Moutse Mall in Dennilton while being transported to Witbank Correctional Services. Two other suspects who escaped with him were later re-arr3sted.
In another violent episode on February 2, 2024, Musoyi was involved in a confrontation at his ex-girlfriend’s home, where he shot her brother in the mouth and fled with a television set.
Lieutenant General Hadebe has appealed to the public for assistance in locating this dangerous criminal. “We urge anyone with information to come forward and help us apprehend this individual who continues to pose a serious threat to our communities,” Hadebe said.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue their search for Musoyi.
