The University of Zimbabwe has won the All-Africa International Humanitarian Law Moot Competition, co-hosted by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Nairobi, Kenya.
The UZ Moot team was composed of Rutendo Sarah Gukwa, Munyaradzi Musarurwa Jr., and Nyasha Bhuza. Nyasha Bhuza also won an individual award after being named Best Overall Speaker.
University of Zimbabwe law lecturer Fadzayi Mahere confirmed the development on her X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, congratulating the University of Zimbabwe Moot team on winning the prestigious @ICRC_Africa competition.
