Andrew Kiposa, a renowned radio presenter and lead singer of the band Soul Train, has sadly passed away in Marondera. Known for his warm smile and gentle demeanor, Kiposa was a respected figure in the broadcasting industry.
Classic 263 Radio, where Kiposa worked as a producer and presenter, expressed their condolences on their page: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our veteran broadcaster, Andrew Kiposa.
Many of us knew how much he made early mornings feel groovy on the sunrise show. A former ZBC reporter and camera person, Kiposa was also a talented lead vocalist with Soul Train Band.
He was a truly remarkable person, and his absence will be felt by all. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the Kiposa family during this challenging time.”

The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) also paid tribute to Kiposa, saying: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of veteran broadcaster, Andrew Kiposa. Kiposa was a former ZBC reporter and camera person and was also a talented lead vocalist with Soul Train Band.
Our condolences are with the Kiposa family during this difficult period.”
Kiposa’s colleagues and fans have taken to social media to pay their respects and share fond memories of his time on air.
