Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, has revealed the surprising reason behind his decision to stop taking photos with fans and strangers.
In a recent interview with Dan Kwaku Yeboah, Akrobeto explained that his reluctance is due to past experiences where his photographs were used in troubling ways.

Akrobeto shared a particularly disturbing incident: “A man exploited a photo of himself with me to deceive his girlfriend. He used the picture while in his car to convince her with false promises, leading her to sleep with him. When she became pregnant, he disappeared. The girl’s mother later came to me with the photo, asking if I recognized the man, but I had no recollection of him.”
He also mentioned that this wasn’t an isolated case, as his photos had been misused in other instances as well. These experiences have led Akrobeto to a firm decision: he now avoids taking photos with anyone, regardless of their intentions or how it might be perceived.
