Mr. Adebanjo twerked continuously for an impressive 3 hours and 30 minutes, securing his place in history.
Guinness World Records officially recognized his achievement, noting that the attempt held personal significance for Babajide as a means to step outside his comfort zone and raise awareness about global depression issues.
They emphasized the inclusivity of record-breaking endeavors, highlighting his message that no goal is too ambitious or small to pursue.
This feat surpassed the previous record held by Austrian Elena Sofie Sterlini, who twerked for 2 hours and 1 minute in January 2023. Like Babajide, Sterlini aimed to break barriers and achieve a personal milestone.
In the realm of twerking, another notable record stands for the most people twerking simultaneously, set by the Big Freedia and Central City Festival in New Orleans, USA, where 406 participants danced their way into the record books.
