Flamboyant businessman Phillip Chiyangwa recently celebrated by purchasing three luxury vehicles for himself and his two sons from Exquisite Motors.
He proudly shared a video on social media of himself collecting the new additions to his impressive fleet.
In other news, Dr. Chiyangwa last week addressed recent allegations that he unlawfully seized land from the Chinese firm JC Delonics.
Represented by Advocate Itai Ndudzo, Chiyangwa appeared before the Commission of Inquiry into Harare City Council operations to counter these claims.
The dispute involves a property in Helensvale, northern Harare, which JC Delonics developed into a car park at a cost of $200,000. JC Delonics’ co-director, Nicholas Mandeya, had alleged that Chiyangwa’s Pinnacle Holdings had illegally taken over this land.

Chiyangwa disputed these claims, asserting that JC Delonics’ accusations are unfounded.
He cited four court rulings in his favor, including decisions from the Supreme Court.
According to Adv Ndudzo, JC Delonics initially went to court in 2023, claiming ownership of the land allocated by the City of Harare, but lost in all subsequent legal challenges.
Chiyangwa expressed frustration over JC Delonics bringing the matter before the Commission of Inquiry despite their legal losses.
He has owned the land since 2015 and argued that his case falls outside the commission’s focus, which is limited to matters from 2017 to 2024.
Retired Justice Maphios Cheda agreed to excuse Chiyangwa from the inquiry but highlighted that JC Delonics’ primary concern remains with the city council, which had leased them the land despite Chiyangwa’s ownership.
