A dramatic scene unfolded at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Nigeria, as a yet-to-be identified graduate stormed the institution in search of a refund of his school fees.
The unemployed graduate, visibly distressed, arrived at the university accompanied by his certificate, which he had returned years after graduating due to the lack of job opportunities.

As security personnel and university staff looked on, the man presented his certificates in a plea to the institution to refund his fees.
In a heart-wrenching display of desperation, the graduate lamented his inability to secure employment following his graduation.
He claimed that his certificate, once a symbol of his achievement, had brought him no financial gain, and he was now struggling to make ends meet.
“Give me my money, I am suffering,” the man pleaded, his words a testament to the harsh realities of unemployment and the struggles faced by many young graduates in Nigeria.
As the scene unfolded, it raised questions about the effectiveness of education in providing a stable livelihood for graduates and the responsibility of institutions in supporting their former students in times of need.
