The Harare Police are reaching out to the public for assistance in solving a robbery case that took place at Chidewe Shopping Centre in the Warren Park D area.
The incident unfolded recently when three unidentified individuals launched an @ttack on a security guard who was on duty at the premises.
According to the police report, the ass@ilants overpowered the guard, allowing them to force their way into the shop.
Once inside, they proceeded to steal various items, prominently including a mobile phone and a substantial amount of cash totaling US$3 525.
The brazen nature of the robbery, which occurred in broad daylight, has raised concerns about safety and security in the area.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who possesses any information regarding the suspects or the stolen items to come forward.
In the meantime, local businesses are encouraged to enhance their security measures, including possibly increasing the presence of security personnel or installing additional surveillance systems to protect themselves from similar incidents in the future.
