Manchester City head coach, Pep Guardiola has commended his side after they were thrashed 2-0 by the Italian club “Juventus” in the Champions League clash. Manchester city travelled to Italy to play against the Seria A league gaint on their sixth Champions League game.
Guardiola’s side have won just one match in their last 10 games across all competitions as they struggle in a way which has not been seen for years.
Speaking after the match, Pep Guardiola singled out that they played good, they didn’t lose many balls and they arrived in the positions.
“We played good. Really, really good. The performance is there”.
“We have done really, really well tonight. We didn’t lose many balls that had happened in the past and we tried, we arrived in the positions”.
With two games left to complete the Champions League’s first phase, Manchester city find themselves sat in 22nd of a 36-team Champions League with no reasonable hope of reaching the top eight.
