Three WhatsApp group Admins from Makuhwa eBindura are being sued for har@ssment and cyberbullying before the Bindura Magistrate.
Moreblessing Nyangombe. Kudakwashe Matekwe and Tadiwa Chirinyemba were released on bail and will return to court on 28 November.
Tadiwa Chirimanyemba uploaded Shorai Chitsiga’s picture to the WhatsApp group and captioned it:
We are all pr0stitutes. At least we are not married, and we have not given anyone love portion….they are used to having fathers take care of children who are not theirs. But you are using him to keep the child of Zodwa, the lineage which is cursed; you are used to checking on us young children; I wish Mitch, the girlfriend of your husband, would assault you.’
The prosecutor argued that the message was intended to humiliate and degrade Chitsiga. On top of that, Kudakwashe Matekwe also encouraged people in the group to send messages degrading people who have extramarital affairs. Nyangombe accused a certain Saymore Mhene of having Tl0f tl0f with his daughter and chasing her away from home.
He also accused Mhene of having tl0f tl0f with Bindura residents without physical contact (Mub0b0b0). He went on a rant claiming that Mhene snatched another man’s wife and was once arrested for having tl0f tl0f with his daughter. Nyangombe says Mhene was once a successful man with Commuter omnibuses but is now broke.
Mhene and Chitsiga went the legal route to get justice over the unfounded claims made by the three admins. The magistrate granted the three bail, but they are set to argue their case before the court tomorrow.
