Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivhayo has enraged women after saying those who drink alcohol are loose.
On social media, Wicknell has gained notoriety for flaunting his wealth. Whenever he boards a plane, he splashes images on his Instagram. He also does not shy away from showing off whenever he buys a new Maybach or a majestic Rolls-Royce.
Of late, he has been throwing money around and blessing viral figures in the country. In October, he gave comedian Sabhuku Vharazipi, Chairman and Mbuya Mai John US$10,000 each after they praised President Mnangagwa.
Last month, he also splurged US$2,000 on a senior ZANU PF supporter who danced at President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s inauguration in September.
However, yesterday, Wicknell decided to go offside a little and cause drama in the social media streets. He was in the mood for a fight and decided to throw a controversial jab at women.
Wicknell suggested that women who booze alcohol are of loose morals. Posting on his Instagram Stories, he said:
“Mukadzi anonwa door akangofanana ne pamba pasina fence [A woman who drinks alcohol is just like a house without a fence.]”
