Flamboyant businessman Wicknell Chivhayo bought another Maybach to celebrate President Mnangagwa’s election win days after purchasing another.
Last week, the controversial entrepreneur shared a videodocumenting how he had just bought a Maybach GLS 600. He got it for about US$263,000 in South Africa.
“Thank you @vogueautomotorsofficial, your amazing sales Manager convinced me to buy a car that I don’t really need and that I already have in white…🤣🤣🤣…Another spare GLS600 MAYBACH as a weekend car… LIFE OF THE RICH & FAMOUS…”
To prove to people the depth of his money, Wicknell Chivhayo bought another Maybach upon touching down in Zimbabwe. This time, he got a white Maybach S580 for US$400,000.
Reason? To celebrate President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s 2023 election victory.
He posted on his Instagram:
“LAST WEEK on Tuesday, after buying my SA pull car, the black MAYBACH GLS600, I came back to Harare on Thursday with some little change left, and as a sign of loyalty to the brand I decided to buy yet another MAYBACH S580 at @exquisitecars.
I had carefully gone through and also asked my Lawyer Adv Lewis Uriri who confirmed there was no law that restricted a citizen from owning 3 MAYBACH vehicles.
“Since this car was reasonably priced at a cost of just 400 thousand dollars, I didn’t have much of a choice, so I had to buy it…Please forgive me, but I have every reason to celebrate without any fear and spoil myself because the political party and Presidential candidate I voted for in the recent elections won resoundingly.”
Wicknell Chivhayo now has multiple Maybachs, many Rolls-Royces and other luxurious cars. The show continues!
