A dramatic and violent confrontation erupted between a wife and her husband’s mistress at his family home in Lusaka. Chileshe Mulenga, 28, a truck driver and mother, discovered her husband Wilson Malunga, 32, was having an affair with Enia Mwale, 40, a coworker at Ndozo Lodge.
The situation escalated when Chileshe found incriminating messages on her husband’s phone and confronted him. Despite his reassurances, Chileshe’s suspicions were confirmed when she found evidence of his infidelity.
The final confrontation occurred when Chileshe visited her child at her in-laws’ home and found Enia holding her child. A fierce fight ensued, with Chileshe unleashing a series of slaps, elbows, and pinches on Enia.
Enia subsequently sued Chileshe for insults and ass@ult at the Lusaka Boma Local Court. However, Magistrate Mable Lupala dismissed the case, citing that Enia had provoked the situation. The magistrate reprimanded all parties involved, including Wilson, for his role in the drama.
In her ruling, Magistrate Lupala stated, “One thing about sin is that you can’t hide it for long. If you’re expecting her to pay you after stealing her husband, you’re lying to yourself.”
