A married woman has revealed to her husband that she has been unfaithful for over a year, admitting to an affair that she carried on while he was in the process of handling her paperwork for relocation to the UK.
Christian Kagande confessed to her husband, Chiwawa, citing feelings of hurt stemming from his behavior, particularly after learning he had a girlfriend. The couple has been married since 2010.
Christian’s boyfriend has been identified as Alfos Nyathi.
H-Metro has accessed messages in which Christian admits to her husband about the affair, stating she also shared her confession with her pastor.
In her messages, she expressed remorse, saying, “I know I shouldn’t have gotten involved with someone else. You changed me, and I didn’t want it to happen. You didn’t deserve my faithfulness. He was the only person I dated in Plumtree.”
She continued, “I was wrong for what I did. I’m truly sorry, and I didn’t intend to hurt you. I realized my sins and confessed to my Pastor, who prayed for me.”

When contacted for her response, Christian claimed ignorance regarding the messages, suggesting someone might have used her phone. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Please leave me in peace.”
Nyathi did not respond to requests for comment.
Chiwawa shared that he had been alerted by their children regarding Christian’s infidelity: “The kids were telling me that their mom was going out at night to see someone else. On November 18, she finally confessed. She claimed she did it out of revenge for my own past mistakes. I was in the process of helping her with her UK papers, and now I can’t forgive her. I can’t live with her anymore. I have already contacted her relatives and will be filing for divorce soon.”
Sources indicate the affair with Nyathi lasted from September 2022 until December 2023. Chiwawa stated, “He admitted to the relationship but claimed not to apologize for it as it was consensual. We got married at Plumtree Court in March 2022, but have been living together since 2010.”
Chiwawa has also reached out to Nyathi’s employer, EMA, with a letter expressing his distress over the situation. He stated, “I am writing to inform you of a significant matter regarding your employee, Alfos Bukosibethu Nyathi, who has been involved in an extramarital affair with my wife. While I recognize personal relationships are private, this situation has severely impacted my family.”
He detailed the nature of the affair, saying, “Nyathi and Christian began their relationship around December 2022. They engaged in unprotected sex frequently during the week while I was away, and my wife often denied me intimacy.”
Chiwawa added that he suffered from STIs during their marriage and accused Nyathi of disrupting their family life. “Christian confessed that the only person she had unprotected sex with was Alfos Nyathi, and that they used the EMA office and residence in Plumtree as their meeting place. I will be pursuing legal action against Nyathi for the emotional distress and loss of companionship caused by this affair.”
