The police in Chinhoyi are urgently appealing for assistance from the public in the manhunt for Tafadzwa Nkonde, a 33 year-old suspect wanted in connection with a horrific murd3r that took place in Muvhami Village, Makonde, on August 31 2024.
According to reports, Nkonde is alleged to have committed a heinous act by r@ping a 37 year-old woman before subjecting her to an even more barbaric fate.
He reportedly forced the victim to ingest a tobacco pesticide that she had stored in her handbag, leaving her in critical condition.
The woman tragically succumbed to her !njuries on September 2 2024, while receiving medical treatment at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital.
The police are urging anyone with information about Nkonde’s whereabouts to come forward and assist with the investigation.
Community members are encouraged to report tips at the nearest police station, as any information may prove vital in securing justice for the victim.
