A woman from Mutambara has confessed to a rather unusual arrangement: she has been br3astfeeding her husband for several years.
The story took an unexpected turn when she publicly shared her experiences, shedding light on the biz@rre dynamics of their relationship.
The woman, Nancy Mutsakani, recently appeared before Chief Mutambara to discuss her tumultuous marriage, revealing that she had secretly weaned their youngest child just a few months prior, in August.
This decision would prove to be a catalyst for conflict between her and her husband, known only as Marowa.
Upon discovering that Nancy had stopped br3astfeeding their youngest child without informing him, Marowa allegedly became violent and confrontational.
In her testimony, Nancy recounted the unusual practice that had become a part of their lives.
She explained that throughout her years of motherhood, she had not only nursed their children but had also shared her breast milk with Marowa. In fact, on many occasions, she would feed their baby from one breast while her husband latched on to the other. According to Nancy, Marowa often expressed delight in her milk, claiming that it was “sweet.”
The situation escalated when Marowa learned that Nancy had weaned their youngest child. In a fit of anger, he confronted her about the sudden loss of milk and acted aggressively.
Nancy described her feelings, saying, “I loved him so much that I fed him with my breast milk without any objections.” She reflected on the peculiar bond they shared through this intimate act and mentioned that their toddler, who she had just weaned, would often playfully “exchange breasts” between her and Marowa, much to his delight.
However, the courtroom drama didn’t end there. Marowa, on the other hand, vehemently denied the claims made by Nancy. He insisted, “She is lying. She never breastfed me. She is saying all this rubbish to try and conceal her dark secret.” He further accused Nancy of infidelity, claiming that he had seen her with another man, John Sandirawo, whom he alleged she was involved with beyond mere friendship.

As the couple presented their contrasting narratives, tensions flared in the community court. Marowa’s allegations of infidelity against Nancy turned the focus onto their marital troubles, hinting that the roots of their conflict might go deeper than just the breastfeeding issue. Nancy maintained that she had moved on from Marowa, even indicating that she had filed for divorce due to his incessant demands for breast milk and the violence that ensued after she weaned their child.
Chief Mutambara, recognizing the complexity of the situation, advised both parties to seek resolution by involving their respective families. He suggested that the deeper issues at play—such as allegations of infidelity—should be addressed outside of the courtroom, emphasizing the importance of family mediation in cases steeped in personal conflict.
In a final twist, the chief also cleared John Sandirawo of any wrongdoing, stating that Nancy had informed him she was single at the time they were seen together. This revelation further complicated the narrative of their relationship, leaving the community to ponder the strange dynamics of love, marriage, and the often-hidden complexities that can lie beneath the surface.
