A woman known simply as Joy recently took to her X page to recount an amusing yet uncomfortable encounter on public transport, where she sprayed a fellow passenger with perfume due to his strong body odor.
Joy described her frustration when she couldn’t tolerate the unpleasant smell coming from the man sitting next to her. In the early hours of the morning, while traveling on an express bus, she decided to take action and used her perfume, RIGGS, to alleviate the situation.

She shared her experience by saying, “They almost beat me on public transport this morning. Can you believe I sprayed the guy next to me because I felt like I was suffocating?”
She further expressed her disbelief, stating, “Why are you smelling so strong at 6 a.m.? It’s early morning in Lagos, and I didn’t realize how bad it was until we were on the expressway. Even the driver had to roll down the windows because we were all struggling to breathe. He laughed through the rearview mirror when I sprayed him, and everyone sighed in relief. That guy was really putting us through it with his awful smell!”
