Former Barcelona FC coach, Xavi Hernandez has officially left the club as manager and coach after facing a challenging season inclusive of financial difficulties and the inability to win the La Liga championship title.
Xavi Hernandez was dismissed by the club and has warned his successor, Hansi Flick of the challenges that come with the position.
In a statement he said ,”Make him understand that it is a difficult situation, Barça is already difficult but the situation is even more.
“He will have to work hard because it is not easy”.
Xavi was captured on CCTV footage leaving Ciutat Esportiva, FC Barcelona’s training ground for the last time after the team’s return from Sevilla and his departure has sparked mixed reactions from fans and supporters.
Barcelona finished the season with 85 points, earning a second place in the league under Xavi Hernandez’s coaching.
