A sh0cking discovery led to the arrest of 30-year-old Ndola businessman Derrick Sinyangwe, who was found with d3ad roasted dogs that he intended to sell to local butcheries and restaurants.
The incident unfolded after Sinyangwe’s girlfriend, Deborah Mutale, grew suspicious of his activities.

On questioning him about the gruesome find, Sinyangwe revealed that he had been supplying dog meat to various butcheries, selling it under the guise of beef to unsuspecting customers.
Outraged by the revelation, Mutale promptly reported her boyfriend to the local police station. Sinyangwe has since been taken into custody as authorities launch an investigation into his operation.
During his interrogation, he confessed that he had been involved in this illicit business for nearly four years, supplying dog meat to restaurants in Ndola and Kitwe.
He stated that restaurant owners often mixed dog meat with small quantities of beef to disguise the true nature of their offerings.
Sinyangwe claimed that almost all residents of Ndola had unknowingly consumed dog meat, as he supplied it to numerous well-known butcheries and eateries in the area.
