Zanu PF has reportedly ordered the losing candidates of the recently held election to bring back the vehicles they were given during the campaigning time.
Zanu Pf, which lost in most urban areas, is said to have given the directive on the 30th of September, and losing members are expected to comply and bring the high-end cars.
However, most of the candidates are said to have personalized the vehicles, as they thought they were given for good.
The directive reads:
This serves as a directive to all the ZANU PF Parliamentary candidates that participated and not succeed in the just ended Harmonized elections to surrender the party vehicles that were allocated to them to the ZANU PF Headquarters by Wednesday 4 October 2023 without fail.
This is a pursuant to the ciccular that was issued before, followed by a decision made by the party leadership at the politburo meeting held on 28 September 2023.
All Provincial chairpersons are directed to ensure that this directive is implemented without fail.
