ZESA Holdings has been honored as the best overall energy company at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) 2024 awards.
This recognition comes despite ongoing 24-hour load shedding, highlighting their dedication to supporting national growth.
ZESA celebrated the achievement on Twitter, stating, “We are proud to be named the best overall winner in the Energy sector at the ZAS 2024 awards.

Additionally, ZESA has partnered with India’s Jindal Steel and Power to enhance electricity generation in Zimbabwe.
Earlier this week, ZESA Holdings released a statement stating the increased power cuts are a result of a technical fault at Hwange Thermal Power Station’s Unit 8.
The country has been experiencing increased power cuts lasting for more than 12 hours in some areas since last Thursday.
