Leonard “Karikoga” Zhakata, a renowned Zimbabwean musician has praised professional mixed martial artist Themba Gorimbo for using his song during a UFC event.
Gorimbo, who competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), chose Zhakata’s song “Dairai Tenzi” for his walkout music.
After Gorimbo’s UFC walkout, Zhakata took to his X handle to express his gratitude. He wrote, “Thank you Themba Gorimbo aka @TheAnswerMMA for using my song ‘Dairai Tenzi’ in your fight. Kwatabva ndiko kure, apachina chekutya apa.”
