Recently RBZ Governor decided to take upon him to educate the public on the newly introduced currency.The Campaign was set to target at increasing awareness about the ZiG currency among the populace. The Governor noted that the information about ZiG had not reached some corners of Zimbabwe, hence the need for another educational campaign.
In a recent post seen by Newsreportzim.com Nick Mangwana posted that the countrywide ZiG awareness campaign moves to a higher notch as officials from the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services move around the communities sharing information about the structured currency. New ZiG banking notes and coins will be released by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on Tuesday, 30 April 2024
