ZIMBABWE shines as a beacon of hope for children during the 43rd Ordinary Session of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
In a statement seen by Newsreportzim.com , this led by the Minister for Justice, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs, Hounarable Ziyambi Ziyambi. Zimbabwe repeats its passionate dedication to upholding, promoting, and fulfilling the rights of every child, in alignment with regional and global human rights standards.
“In line with Article 1 of the Children’s Charter, the Government of Zimbabwe continues to implement Constitutional, Legal, and Administrative measures to eliminate discrimination against children,” he said.
In the pursuit of economic, social, and cultural rights for children, Zimbabwe’s commitment is exemplified through policies such as the Basic Education Assistance Module (BEAM) and comprehensive approaches like school feeding programs.
In comments Raphael Chipanga critizes a beacon of hope for children saying, “A beacon of hope my foot,, Child marriage goes unpunished because the perpetrators are ZanuPf aligned supporters, rapists of minors are released from jail after serving a short period of their sentence and are rewarded for saying ED huchi after being released.
