The government of Zimbabwe is currently working day and night as they are preparing to host the 7th SADC Industrialisation Week 2024 before the 44th SADC Summit, which the country will also host in August this year.
A six day-long conference will be held under the theme: “Promoting innovation to unlock opportunities for Sustainable Economic Growth and Development towards an Industrialised SADC.”
According to the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services’ X post, newsreportzim.com has reliably informed that the 7th SADC Industrialisation Week 2024 is scheduled to take from 28th of July to August 2 in Harare.
“The 7th SADC Industrialisation Week 2024, will be running from the 28th of July to the 2nd of August 2024 at the HICC in Harare.
Theme: “Promoting innovation to unlock opportunities for Sustainable Economic Growth and Development towards an Industrialised SADC,” the post reads.
The SADC industrialization week was scheduled to run from 28th July to 2 August. The Conference will be hosted by thee government through the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries, in partnership with the SADC Secretariat and SADC Business Council.
The visitors and delegates will visit some of the country’s functional industries like Dinson an integrated Iron and Steel plant in Manhize near Mvuma and other factories in Harare.
