The sudden and heartbreaking loss has left the family reeling, and they are now seeking justice and closure in the wake of the accident.
“I thought she was going to wake up. Till now I keep thinking it’s just a dream. I’m deeply hurt,” the 24-year-old told the BBC.
She claimed that the driver of the vehicle had not been in contact with the family since she arrived at the scene of the collision. She claimed that his coworkers expressed their regret on his behalf and informed her that he had left the scene due to being “affected by the accident”.
“I felt like he wasn’t really sorry,” she said. “I wish he came directly so I could pour my heart out.”
