A young man from Zimbabwe was admitted in hospital after fasting for 33 days in hopes of fulfilling his girlfriend’s dreams.
Mark Muradzira, a 27-year-old youth leader at Risen Saints Church by the time the incident was reported, went into the wilderness to pray for a miracle: he wanted God to provide him with a Lamborghini to gift to his girlfriend.
According to reports, Mark originally planned to fast for 40 days and nights, but after 33 days, friends began to worry when he didn’t return.

They searched for him and found him weak and malnourished, barely clinging to life.
He was quickly taken to Bindura General Hospital, where he is now receiving treatment. Mark had fasted because his girlfriend had shared that her dream car was a Lamborghini, but unfortunately, instead of a miracle, he ended up in the hospital.
Many suggested he might have been better off praying for a good job instead.
