A 23-year-old man from Esigodini, Nkosikhona Moyo, was arr3sted for rap!ng a goat.
This follows a previous incident where a 20-year-old man, Mthandazo Ndlovu, was caught for a similar cr!me involving another goat.
On October 6, 2024, Moyo entered Njuka Farm at night, selected a female goat, and @ss@ulted it.
The next morning, the goat was found unconscious, with signs of s3xual @ss@ult.

B Metro has it that the goat’s owner and his coworkers followed footprints that led them to Moyo’s home.
Moyo was arrested and charged with b3stiality.
He pleaded gu!lty and was fined US$150 or two months in ja!l if he didn’t pay.
The magistrate called Moyo’s actions barbaric but noted that he was a first-time offender and had a family to support.
Since the goat did not d!e and no compensation was provided to its owner, the magistrate felt a fine was appropriate rather than a harsh pr!son sentence.
