This shocking revelation came to light after Zimbabwean socialite Hillary Makaya blamed Mars Zimbabwe for Garry Mapanzure’s death. She called out the ambulance service company for allegedly refusing to ferry Garry Mapanzure to Harare to get medical treatment.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Hillary Makaya claimed that the company’s actions led to Garry Mapanzure’s death. She claimed that Mars Zimbabwe demanded a staggering US$2.9k upfront to transport Garry Mapanzure from Masvingo to Harare for medical treatment.
Makaya further revealed that despite desperate pleas from the musician’s family, who promised payment upon arrival, Mars Zimbabwe allegedly still refused to transport Garry Mapanzure without upfront payment.

Hillary Makaya stated that Garry Mapanzure might still be alive if Mars Zimbabwe had not refused to ferry him to Harare.
“Garry fought for his life for 10 hours Straight! He could have lived but you deprived him of urgent medical attention.”
Following the shocking revelation, social media quickly rushed to Mars Zimbabwe’s social media page and fired salvo at the private ambulance company. Social media users called them out for being heartless and inconsiderate.
