The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has revealed that Zimbabwe’s top 10 visited websites include betting sites, p0rn0graphy, and Facebook. Potraz’s Deputy Director of CIRT & Enforcement, Evidence Mazhindu, contrasts this with Mauritius, where the top websites are research-based, reflecting their investment in research time and resources.
In a video by ZiFM Stereo, Potraz highlighted that Zimbabweans are frequenting p0rn0graphic sites excessively. The top 10 most visited websites in Zimbabwe include betting sites, p0rn0graphy, and Facebook.
Mazhindu attributes this trend to widespread idleness and calls on authorities to increase investment in ICT research initiatives.

He made these comments during an interview with ZiFM Stereo News in Gweru, Midlands province, on the sidelines of a Sensitisation and Awareness Workshop on the Cyber and Data Protection Act.
