MVURWI | Zimdancehall musician Hillary “Master H” Marufu was embarrassed by his fans in Mvurwi on Friday night after he performed for only 45 minutes rather than the agreed 2 hours at Tamu Tamu leisure center.
The melody singer was dragged back to the stage twice by Mvurwi youths after he tried to flee.
It took Tamu Tamu propriater to free the charged youths who tried to burn his car after he tried to flee twice.
The police had a torrid time trying to ease the youths who felt betrayed by Master H.
The melody singer had to remove his clothes while in his car, gave them to one of his aides and fled in the dark while an angry mob bayed for his blood.
Youths who spoke to this publication said they felt cheated by Master H, who performed for less than an hour.
“We were not happy with the time Master H played on stage the promoter told us that he would perform for 2 hours but he just performed for 45 minutes that is why we embarrassed him,” Francis Chigwida.
“These Zimdancehall artistes are not professional how can he just perform for 45 minutes after starting late nowonder why most of them do not far,”Cynthia Sedze said.
However, Tamu Tamu’s disck jockey Russel Dj Russy Chimota and Mashoko Kavhai did not disappoint on stage as they played tune after tune.
