PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is this Friday set to commission the Kamativi Mine Spodumene Processing Plant.
It’s now 30 years later when the mine was shut and now it is re-opening as a lithium mine, bringing back life to Kamativi which had become a ghost town and providing jobs for the community.
Government of Zimbabwe under the second Republic led by His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has opened several mines which will contribute significantly to increase of revenue and foreign currency inflow in the economy and contributing towards vision 2030
On Wednesday he commissioned 2 under gold mines in Chegutu. The mines were onwned by the Dallaglio, a mining unit of Padenga Holdings Pvt Ltd.
The commission of the two mines also created over 500 jobs which will benefit Local residents of Chegutu.
