In a surprising turn of events, Zimbabwean mixed martial artist Themba Gorimbo has apologized to renowned musician Winky D and his fans for his recent diss.
Gorimbo took to social media to express his remorse, stating that his intention was not to belittle Winky D but rather to have a lighthearted joke.
The MMA fighter acknowledged that his actions had a significant impact on many people and fans, and he regrets any hurt caused.
He shared a similar experience from 2021 where he playfully att@cked musician Enzo Ishall, showcasing his intent to have fun.
Gorimbo’s apology comes with a sincere message: he is a huge fan of Winky D’s music, which has inspired him to work hard for years.
He also acknowledged Winky D as one of Zimbabwe’s greatest artists.

“Since it’s also wisdom Thursday.
Guys on the Winky D thing i made a mistake and thought it was just a small joke .
My intention wasn’t to put winky down or think i am better .
I was just trying to have fun like i did with Enzo Ishall back in 2021 if you still remember.

I apologise about that .
Nothing said was from bad heart. I love Winky D myself. His songs inspired me for years to work hard.
I have many of his songs that i love.
Winky D is one of the greatest artists from Zimbabwe and if I grow up to be half a man he is in my own right it would be a blessing.
