Public prosecutor Blessing Tawanda Nyandoro faced serious allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Mitchel Mudzongachisvo, who accused him of a pattern of abus3 following their breakup and his decision to call off their lobola negotiations.
Mudzongachisvo detailed instances of physical @ssault, including being choked and pushed down the stairs while pr3gnant, alongside emotional distress arising from his thr3ats and alleged public humiliation through the leaking of her private images.
In contrast, Nyandoro claimed that Mudzongachisvo’s accusations stemmed from her bitterness over the terminated marriage plans, asserting that her claims of pr3gnancy were manipulative tactics to coerce him into marriage.
He further refuted her allegations, demanding she provide evidence of any supposed communications wherein he sought forgiveness.
Nonetheless, the magistrate, Meenal Naratom, ultimately granted Mudzongachisvo a protection order against Nyandoro, thereby prohibiting him from approaching her or causing her distress.
