Ahead of the 44th Ordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government, Lesotho Prime Minister Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane made a courtesy visit to President Mnangagwa at State House this Friday.
This update was confirmed by Nick Mangwana, the Ministry of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services, in a post on X.
“This morning, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, The Right Honourable Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa at State House in Harare,” the post reads.
In their meeting, the two discussed the need for Zimbabwe and Lesotho to collaborate on agricultural, renewable energy, and education sectors.
Prime Minister Matekane also said it is key for African nations to work together and ensure trade between themselves before looking beyond the continent.
