Police in Southern Province, Zambia are currently looking for a 50 year- old man of Kalomo district after he defiled and impregnated his biological 14 year old daughter.
After the de@th of his wife in 2021, Suma Mazoka was given custody of all his children by the family.
The widower then started taking care of his children alone, as he never remarried, gaining him praise from the community as a decent father and committed husband to his late wife.
But as time passes, Mazoka started to think unlawfully towards his eldest child, a female juvenile.
He started to force himself on her, and each time she refused to sleep with him, he would subject her to corporal punishment.
All this time, the young girl endured, until she discovered she was carrying her father’s child and sibling to be.
On Thursday when he attempted to sleep with her again, the young girl gathered some courage and escaped the wrath of his elderly manhood, and ran to her Uncle’s place in the next village and told him everything.
The concerned uncle, Cosius Habajika aged 50 then went to the police and reported the matter.
Southern Province police commanding officer, Auxensio Daka who confirmed the incident said the survivor was issued with a medical form.
“It was later discovered that the survivor is four months pregnant. Police are yet to arrest the suspect for incest as investigations on the matter are still on going,” said Daka.
