A 25-year-old student, Audrey Nyasha Rwambiwa, is fighting for her life in a Harare hospital after being stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend, Webster Mubati.
The att@ck happened over the weekend when Audrey returned home late from a party.
The incident took place at their home on Josiah Chinamano Avenue, where Audrey was living with Webster.
Her late arrival around 3 a.m. after a night out sparked a violent confrontation.

Enraged by her return time, Webster grabbed a kitchen knife and st@bbed Audrey multiple times, hitting her in the br3ast, finger, arm, ribs, and even following her into the bathroom to continue the @tt@ck on her back and shoulder as reported by H Metro.
In a desperate bid to escape, Audrey locked herself in the bathroom and ultimately broke a window to get out.
She sought help from nearby neighbors, who quickly rushed her to Parirenyatwa Hospital, where she is now receiving treatment.
After the assault, Webster fled the scene, and police are actively searching for him. Authorities have urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
