Zimbabwe’s outspoken opposition politician and leader of the Transfom Zimbabwe, Jacob Ngarivhume, has been granted $100 bail by the High court.
Ngarivhume appeared at the High Court of Zimbabwe in Harare on 23 October 2024 in the afternoon.
This development was confirmed by Gift Ostallos on X.
Ostallos wrote the following:
“He has been granted $100 bail by the High court. He is no criminal.

Ngarivhume is facing charges of disorderly conduct and participating in an unlawful gathering.
He was arr3sted in early August before Zimbabwe host the 44th SADC Summit in Harare. Ngarivhume’s arr3st was part of a renewed government crackdown on government critics who have threatened to roll out anti-government protests when regional leaders fly into the country for the high profile indaba.
