Lacere Masese, an 18-year-old student who achieved an impressive 15 points in his A-Level examinations, tr@gically d!ed on the same day ZIMSEC released the results.
Just one day prior to his passing at Kwekwe General Hospital, he was diagnosed with blood cancer.
A resident of Mbizo in Kwekwe, Lacere was a student at Manunure High School, where he excelled in his studies, earning top marks in Computer Science, Pure Mathematics, and Business Studies.
Unfortunately, he never had the chance to collect his well-earned results as reported by H Metro.

According to family members, Lacere had shown remarkable academic talent from a young age. He had also excelled in his O-Level examinations and was known for his disciplined and hardworking approach to schooling.
Relatives described him as a model student, quiet and friendly both at home and at school, always treating his family with love and respect.
“He was taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital after being diagnosed with blood cancer just a day before he passed away.
He d!ed early in the morning,” shared a close relative. “His death is a tragedy for our family, as he was truly special to us.”
His family mourns the loss of a bright young man who had a promising future ahead of him.
