“Al Hilal have terminated Ney’s contract with immediate effect as the Brazilian will now travel for medical and sign in as new Santos player.
Back to Santos, back to Vila Belmiro,” Fabrizio confirmed.
This is the first time in Neymar Junior’s career, he is a free agent. A cruciate ligament inj-ry early in his time in the Middle East kept him out of action for the majority of his spell there.
During his first spell at Santos, Neymar played 225 matches, scoring 136 goals and providing 64 assists. With numbers like these, the club is counting on his return to boost the team’s performance in the 2024 season. It’s also expected that Neymar will form a dynamic attacking duo with Tiquinho Soares, one of the club’s key signings.
