Today His Excellency President Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is expected to preside over the triple b*rial at the National Heroes Acre.
Last week President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has conferred national hero status on the Brigadier General Shadreck Vezha who d!ed in fatal road traffic accident along Harare-Bulawayo highway.
The other two, Cde Dzimiri and Cde Jadangu were s*ccumbed to a short illness on 16 and 18 April respectively.
According to The Herald, church services were held yesterday in honour of the trio departed national heroes.
The memorial service for Brig Gen Vezha was held at Charles Gumbo Barracks in Harare, while that of Cde Jadangu was held in Chitungwiza. Cde Dzimiri’s memorial service was at Mt Pleasant house.
This is the second time to have triple b*rial of national heroes. The first triple burial was witnessed in 2021 following the de@th of S.B Moyo, Dr J B Matiza and P Zimondi due to COVID-19 related complications.
